Visiting The Practice

Phoning the Practice

Our phone lines open at 8am.

We aim to answer your call within one minute. Lines can be busy in the morning, because patients who are acutely unwell are calling us to use our Same Day Service.

Calling us is the best way to arrange a pre-booked appointment, or to use the Same Day Service.

Please note that we record all incoming & outgoing calls - please see the Medical Records & GDPR tab above.

Visiting The Practice

We look forward to welcoming you to our practice. Here is some  information to help your visit.

Reception is on the ground floor. It is always difficult to retain confidentiality at the front desk. Please respect the privacy of the person in front you, and queue behind the sign. There is also a private interview room: please at the desk if you prefer to talk there.

The consulting rooms are on the ground floor and 2nd floor. Please allow time to arrive for your appointment, as it does take time to reach the consulting rooms!

There is a waiting room on both floors. If you are arriving for an appointment, please use the check-in screen in the ground floor waiting area because it will tell you which floor to wait on. Floors are colour coded: ground floor is purple; 2nd floor is green.

Lift There is a lift. If you are able to, then please use the stairs instead as all our staff have pledged to. Small changes like this can make a difference to our wellbeing.

Bike parking: there are bike racks at both sides of the rear of the building (ie near the pedestrian entrance and also on the other, car park, side).

Car parking: There are drop-off parking spaces in front of the building, plus limited disabled car parking (you must be able to use your blue badge to use this please). We encourage patients and staff to walk to the practice if possible.

Toilets: there are toilets adjacent to the waiting rooms on both floors.

Water. If you need a drink of water while you are with us, please ask a member of staff who will be happy to fetch you one.
